Storm damage takes a toll
SERVPRO was called to asses storm damages, that cause a flood in this home. Heavy rain caused out side water to poured in from the windows and seep in, from cracks in the foundation. Our techs began mitigation services immediately. They suited up in PPE, since this job was deemed a CAT 3. They began by removing and itemizing the damaged and affected contents. Most everything in this basement had to be removed. Then the extraction of the standing water and clean up began. This home sat of a few days before any services had began. This wait time gave mold a chance to grow, so besides regular mitigation, we had to follow mold protocols as well.
