Do's and Don'ts when you find Mold.

Do not disturb visible mold.

If you see visible mold, do not disturb it. By disturbing mold, you can easily spread the mold spores throughout your home. When mold is disturbed, it can release microscopic mold spores which become airborne and can circulate inside your home.

What to Do:

1. Stay out of affected areas.
2. Turn off the HVAC system and fans.

What Not to Do:

1. Don’t touch or disturb the mold.
2. Don’t blow air across any surfaces with visible or suspected mold growth.
3. Don’t attempt to dry the area yourself.
